Ryurai Mountain

Ryurai Mountain is where Kumogakure is located. The village is set near the top, and there are giant, bonsai-styled trees that surround it. There are also many, many clouds set around it, and there is almost always a dark sky. The mountain itself has seen many storms and has been weathered down a bit, but not enough to deter any inhabitants from going on with life.

Onsen

The Kumo Onsen is not quite up to luxurious standards, but it does its job all the same. A welcome place to relax in the hot waters, it can be rather distracting to see more clouds in the sky than just those from the springs. The grounds are made of smooth rocks pressured together, and can become slippery, although there are employees hired to keep them dry. Of course, caution is always still advised.

Training Grounds

The Kumo training grounds seem to truly have no real limit, aside from the village. They range from the trees to the meadow, and then to the mountain areas that are infertile and deserted. There are some areas, such as the land on which the trees are rooted, connected by bridges, that also serve as training grounds.

Marketplace

The marketplace at Kumogakure is known for being quite quiet. There is a general mix of buildings and stalls, although when the stands are out, they tend to dominate the business.

Raikage Building

Also known as the Kumo Administration Building, this structure is the tallest of the others, although they are all generally short, based in the centre of the village. It has three floors, and is build with roofs that gently curve upwards at the edges, and especially at the corners. It is made of stone, and no metal exists here.

Shuubi Meadow

Shuubi Meadow can be a dangerous place to visit, especially during a storm. Of course, anyone with any common sense would realize that. It surrounds the extra areas of Kumogakure that is not taken by buildings. It consists of a few trees, and many tall stalks of vegetation.

Academy

The ninja academy of Kumogakure is most like that of Kirigakure than those of any other village. It is perhaps not as dark. Teachers urge students to be diligent workers, and focus a bit more on strength than in speed or ninjutsu, although all three are quite required to graduate. The building, in steel blue, is surrounded by a rock wall that stands about 5 feet tall. Inside, the classrooms are set up like a lecture hall, and a chalkboard is used.

Shinobi Housing

There are no apartments in Kumogakure, and only a single inn. Houses are wooden or stone, and contain very little metal, if any at all. All buildings are one-floor tall. The inn is not as friendly as it could be, but for the most part, the innkeeper is more than happy to accept customers. It is known for taking in mysterious guests, as well.
