Bird Country. With Iwa to the north, Suna to the south, and Ame to the east, there is little room for Tori no Kuni to grow. This is very much a farming country, reminiscent of the feudal era. There are daimyo to guard, assassins to ward off, stone roofs to flee across, and high fences to keep the dogs in and the people out. Farther out in the rural areas are the fields from which Tori no Kuni is granted its name. It is also a metaphor for its prosperity.
