Marketplace

The Suna marketplace is not the prettiest place to make any purchases, but there is almost certainly something for one's needs. The sand can mask some significant things, as well as anything that might be illegal, and people come from all over to sell their wares. Stores are often set up as simple stands that can be upped and removed at will.

Desert Area

The desert area of Sunagakure, without any guidance, can be a dangerous place to be. The wind is constantly blowing, and more so than just a breeze. This casts the sand into the air, which can make it difficult to breath or see, or even hear above the whistling. The desert here is quite vast, and has many ditches that are virtually impossible to locate. Along the borders of the desert are rocky cliffs that will eventually lead to Fire Country.

Like most villages, Sunagakure has both apartments and houses. Most shinobi also live in apartments, and most villagers live in houses that are purchased.

Academy

The shinobi academy of Sunagakure is not unlike other villages'. It is certainly more durable due to the constant windy weather, and is made more of stone than of wood, which is much too scarce around the desert to be used much at all. It has a tan, brownish hue to it. There is a small area for play, large enough for a game of soccer, and a swing set. Inside are the classrooms set up with desks and chairs.

Kazekage Building

Also known as the Suna Administration Building, the Kazekage Building is rather tall, although still squat compared to most villages' structures. It is in the shape of a giant, layered gourd. It is set in an indentation in the earth, and the entrance is located at the base. Inside, metal has been used to stabilize the structure, and leads off to the mission area and many other rooms used for administration.

Message Building

From the message building, messages can be sent to other areas. For the most part, letters and scrolls are written only if they are of importance, as entire families usually reside in a single area. Anyone can send a message, provided a small fee is paid.
